Design for Uptime

Maintenance Integrated.

Preventative maintenance is key to the efficiency of any manufacturing organization.  The Nysus Solutions CMMS allows for seamless integration of maintenance management to MES.  Create maintenance schedules based on time or machine cycles, manage spare parts inventory, and manage work orders by trade.  The Nysus Solutions CMMS can be deployed using a variety of mobile devices which provides flexibility for maintenance personnel.  Optimize your equipment uptime to maximize your performance.

Architecture & Technology

The Nysus CMMS uses the same web-based, configurable platform as the Nysus MES and WMS — sharing user management, asset hierarchy, and reporting infrastructure.

Cycle-Based & Time-Based PM Triggers — Schedule preventive maintenance by calendar days, runtime hours, machine cycles, parts produced, distance traveled — or any combination. Cycle counts come directly from PLC tags via the MES, not from manual entry.

Asset Hierarchy & History — Multi-level asset tree (plant → line → station → machine → component) with complete history of every work order, part replaced, and condition reading against every asset.

Trade-Based Work Order Routing — Work orders automatically routed to the correct trade (electrical, mechanical, controls, fluid power, etc.) based on the fault type and asset class.

Mobile-First Technician Interface — Maintenance technicians work from rugged tablets or phones — view work orders, check out parts, log time, photograph completed work, and close out from anywhere on the floor.

Spare Parts Inventory Integration — Full BOM-of-spares against every asset. Min/max reorder points with automatic PR generation into your ERP. Parts consumption is logged at work order close, not next-day batch reconciliation.

Emergency Work Order Workflow — Operator call-for-help from the MES creates an emergency work order with the asset, station, fault, and time-down captured automatically. Acknowledgement, dispatch, and time-to-repair all measured.

Condition-Based Maintenance Hooks — Integrate vibration sensors, thermal imaging, oil analysis results, and other condition data to trigger work orders when equipment behavior changes — not just when the calendar says so.

Compliance & Audit Records — Complete digital records of every PM and every repair — meeting requirements for IATF 16949, ISO 9001, FDA, and other regulatory audits.

Our Differentiators

MES-Native, Not MES-Adjacent — Built on the same platform as the Nysus MES — emergency work orders, cycle counts, and OEE all flow seamlessly.

Cycle-Based PM, Not Just Calendar-Based — Maintenance triggers by real PLC cycle counts and runtime hours, not just dates on a calendar.

Mobile-First for Real Floor Use — Designed for the way maintenance technicians actually work — rugged mobile devices, fast interaction, one-handed operation.

Asset Hierarchy That Matches Reality — Multi-level hierarchy from plant down to individual sensor or component, with full history and cost rollup at every level.

Spare Parts to ERP Loop — Automatic PR generation, parts consumption logging, and inventory reconciliation against SAP, Oracle, Plex, QAD, Infor, and Dynamics 365.

Engineered, Installed, and Supported by Nysus — Same engineering team across MES, WMS, CMMS, and the automation systems being maintained. No vendor finger-pointing.

Common Industries & Use Cases

Automotive Tier 1 & Tier 2

Sequenced production lines where every minute of downtime cascades to the OEM customer.

Lawn & Garden / Outdoor Power

Mower, ATV, and small engine assembly lines with hundreds of stations and thousands of tracked assets.

Construction equipment including excavators, bulldozers, and a dump truck on a construction site with a blue sky.

Heavy Equipment & Off-Highway

Long-cycle build operations with high-value, low-volume capital equipment.

Food & Beverage

Sanitary equipment with strict PM compliance and food-safety documentation requirements.

APPLICATIONS

  • Digital work order management interface showing a "Work Order Detail" table with columns for W/O number, Asset, Date/Shift, Type, and Status. Various work orders are listed with types including Electrical and Maintenance, and statuses such as "Completed" and "Not Scheduled." Highlighted rows indicate uncompleted tasks. Buttons for Inventory, History, and Emergency Work Orders are visible at the bottom.

    Work Orders

Create maintenance tasks based on trade.

  • Nysus Dashboard CMMS screenshot featuring various charts and metrics. Includes status summary with pie chart, bar graph displaying asset categories, monthly and weekly hour status, daily job status list with priorities and descriptions, and scheduled task details. Timestamp in corner and iGPS branding.

    Preventitive Maintenance

Proactively maintain equipment based on cycles or time.

  • Large industrial factory floor with machines and equipment

    Asset Tracking

Complete historical record of each piece of equipment.

  • storage room with metal shelves stocked with mechanical parts and hardware

    Spare Parts Inventory

Automate the spare parts replenishment process through ERP integration.

Deployment & Integration

Phased Asset Onboarding — Start with the most critical assets or one production line; expand from there. No need to inventory the entire plant before going live.

Existing CMMS Migration — Import asset master, PM schedules, spare parts BOMs, and work order history from existing CMMS or spreadsheet-based tracking.

ERP Spare Parts Integration — Bidirectional connection to your ERP — PR generation, receiving, consumption, and stock reconciliation.

MES & PLC Connection — Cycle counts and runtime hours pulled directly from production PLCs and the Nysus MES.

Mobile Device Rollout — Deploy on iOS, Android, or Windows rugged devices — your choice, with hardware-agnostic procurement support if needed.

Training & Adoption Support — On-site training for technicians, supervisors, and storeroom staff. Ongoing adoption coaching to make sure the system gets used.
