What Is Guide My Work?

Guide My Work (GMW) is a subscription-based Manufacturing Execution System (MES). It includes many of the features from our standard Assembly MES, but simplified.

How Is Guide My Work Different From The Nysus Solutions MES You Currently Offer?

Guide My Work has only a few key differences from the standard Nysus MES:

  • It’s cloud-based, rather than hosted on a server, so installation and start-up is quick and easy.
  • It’s a subscription service that gives you the ability to use it (and pay for it) when you need it.
  • It does not allow for complex ERP/MRP integration or customization to reports, displays or utilities. This allows us to keep the cost low.

That’s it! You get most of the benefits and tools that a full-blown MES offers without the complex configuration and setup that you may not need.

How Do I Get Started With GuideMyWork?

Users simply sign-up online at GuideMyWork.com. Answer a few key questions, set up your payment information and get going! All you need is a web-enabled device and Guide My Work is ready to go. The Guide My Work administrative page walks you through each step of the process, making it easy for you to set up, modify and utilize the many tools available.

How Much Does GuideMyWork Cost?

This is the best part (well…one of them, at least)! GMW is only $3 per day/station. THAT’S IT! No hidden fees, one-time startup costs, annual maintenance plans. Just $3 per day/station.

Can I Try Guide My Work Before I Purchase It?

All new customers* will receive their first 15 days free*Discount applies to first-time users only. 

What If I Don’t Need To Use A Station Everyday?

No problem! Simply turn it on when you need it, turn it off when you don’t. You’ll only be billed for the days that the system is active*.
*Guide My Work is billed on per day basis, whether it is used for 1 hour or 24 hours. System must be turned off prior to the billing date within the administrative utility in order to avoid billing charges. 

What Happens To My Data When I Pause or Cancel My Subscription?

Any production data gathered when Guide My Work is in use will be accessible to you through the Administrative Utility. Should you choose to cancel your subscription permanently, Nysus Solutions will provide any production data gathered by the system to you.

What Integration Capabilities Are Available?

Guide My Work allows for the following integration types:

  • Torque Tools (Any OpenProtocol Version)
  • PLCs (Allen Bradley, Modbus, Siemens)
  • Ethernet-Capable Printers
  • Bar Code Scanners
  • Keyboard Wedge

What Reports Are Included With Guide My Work?

Guide My Work offers the following historical reporting options:

  • Production
  • Cycle Time
  • Downtime Tracking
  • Defect Collection Tracking

Each report will include filtering capabilities as well as download and print options. Guide My Work also includes a Production Dashboard to display real-time feedback and announcements to your shop floor.

Can I Customize The Operator Screen or Reports?

Is ERP/MRP System Integration Available?

In an effort to keep costs low and provide instant download/use capabilities, ERP/MRP Integration will be limited to uploading part lists and pulling data utilizing our API.

Do You Offer Customer Support For Guide My Work?

Nysus Solutions offers 24×7 support through our help ticket site (tickets.nysus.com) or help line (844-GO NYSUS) for GMW users. However, be sure to reference the training materials and FAQs prior to contacting the help desk as fees may apply depending on the nature of the request.

Can I Utilize Guide My Work On My Machines (Such As Injection Molding)?

Guide My Work is not available for machine integration. Please see the Nysus Solutions Machine MES Product Page for more information on this system.

I Want To Use Guide My Work In Multiple Locations, But Some Of My Operators Do Not Speak English. Can Guide My Work Be Translated For These Operators?

Guide My Work has multilingual capabilities in order to accommodate a variety of language needs. Administrative users can customize each individual operator’s language preference as needed.
