Hometown: Lambertville, MI.  Also lived in California (Point Mugu) for 3 years while in the Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician.

About Steve: I am married with 3 kids: Sophia, Evelyn, & Vincent, and a funny dog named Puj.  Loving the dad-life, and I enjoy pretending I am still young enough to play basketball, woodworking, music, and various geek-ish projects.

Favorite Sports Team: Michigan Wolverines….mainly basketball & (I suppose) football, and the Detroit Pistons

Favorite Food:  Chocolate shakes.  In high school, I installed car stereo systems for my friends and my only required payment was a chocolate shake!

Why do you enjoy working at Nysus Solutions?   It has been amazing watching Nysus grow into what it’s become.  We have grown into a real powerhouse amongst the MES and automation sector.  We have built a great team that has a ton of manufacturing experience and great work ethic.  This allows us to tackle and overcome any challenge that we face and deliver a quality product for our customers that helps them achieve their goals.

What do you like most about working within the manufacturing industry?  As a programmer, it is rewarding to see what you are working on be applied to the physical world.  I don’t think I could have ever written financial software or something that wasn’t tangible.  To drive down the road and see a car or other product that we helped ensure the quality of is really satisfying.

About Kevin:  I am married to my wonderful wife Christine of 17 years.  We have two children (Collin and Erin) and their schedules keep us pretty busy.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, working around the yard, playing soccer or basketball, hunting, planning to go hunting, and talking about hunting.

Favorite Sports Team: Michigan Wolverines and all the Detroit sports teams (Pistons, Lions, Red Wings, Tigers)

Favorite Food:  Venison (shocking)

Why do you enjoy working at Nysus Solutions?  The reason I enjoy working at Nysus Solutions is our team.  There is a very strong sense of comradery and people are always willing to jump in and help out.  I am constantly impressed by the things our team does to make sure our customers are successful.

What do you like most about working within the manufacturing industry?  I really enjoy getting to visit so many manufacturing facilities and see how a variety of products are made.  It is very rewarding to be able to help all types of manufacturing organizations implement new technologies and improve their businesses.  It is an exciting time to be involved in manufacturing in North America as there is an increased focus on lead time reductions and a constant push for improved efficiencies.

What do you like most about working within the manufacturing industry? I love getting to see how things are made, from people assembling parts to large machines and robots making and handling parts. The technology advances rapidly in this industry and it is very exciting to get to be a part of that.

What do you see for the future of Nysus that you are excited about? The sky is the limit for what we can achieve at Nysus over the next several years. We are expanding our automation capabilities and our core MES products have gone through several cycles of improvement to get to a point where we are providing what we believe are extremely reliable and user-friendly systems.

About Dave: I have worked in manufacturing plants for nearly 20 years.  I have been married for 13 years to my wife Rosey and we have 1 daughter. I also enjoy golfing as much as possible.

Favorite Food:  My favorite food is a salad.  Just kidding, it’s tacos.

Why do you enjoy working at Nysus Solutions?  I enjoy working at Nysus Solutions because of our team.  I can honestly say we always have a laugh every single day.  Each team member working at Nysus brings a unique skill set, we have some of the smartest, most talented people working here that I have ever met.

What do you like most about working within the manufacturing industry?  What I like most is meeting new people and seeing new companies and their products.  Working at Nysus is a unique position, we have helped companies build all sorts of products.  On any given day I am shown something that raises my interest in societal innovations.
